Embodiment: where head meets heart

Call it embodiment or integration, but either way, this is the hardest part of all self-work and personal development practices. This is about taking what you’ve learned and turning it into what you feel and know deeply. This is where the head meets the heart and where practices go from simple habits to whole ways of being. This is where the paradigm shifts. In this workshop we will introduce the concepts of integration & embodiment and begin to identify practices and tools to help the process along.

You’ll also get out of this:

  • an understanding of the difference between knowing something and embodying it

  • tools to aid in creating space and a flow of information between your head and your heart

  • tips to help practice radical self-care, honesty and vulnerability

De-stigmatizing Trauma + Embodiment

This Intentional Exploration brings you into the “other side” of the work with critical concepts and components in integrating deep self-understanding, growth and development.  Learning to carry your self awareness into the world with compassion and folding it into your everyday is key to upkeep - and frankly makes the world a better place.

Acknowledging, accepting, and grieving lived or inherited trauma is essential to living a life of purpose & it's made easier in community. The pain you’ve felt, or the burden’s you've shouldered have helped to make you who you are today, and for that there is gratitude, but also grief. We’ve all felt pain, and really, pain knows no hierarchy, so everyone’s trauma deserves to be felt, addressed and lessened in the sharing. In these sessions we’ll practice vulnerability and self-compassion - key to moving through grief and into embodiment.  Call it embodiment or integration, but either way, this is the hardest part of all self-work and personal development practices. Shadow Work + Practicing the Art of Peace

This Intentional Exploration dives deeper into self-discovery with two extensive and essential practices in self-understanding, compassion, and self-“work” which leads to the freedom of practiced and regular peace.

The term “shadow-work” is trending - but what does it mean? Rooted in Jungian Psychology; 'the shadow' (often also called the 'id'), refers to the parts of yourself, perhaps in your subconscious, that your conscious-self does not choose to 'identify' with. When left in the dark & unexamined, these parts of us still exist, operate, and often direct our actions and decisions. In order to feel the peace that comes when we are confident in our responses rather than reactive, we must understand the id's moves and motives. We must dance with our shadow to bring it to light.  Once we do the work of seeing and understanding our shadow - we have to now learn to accept it - a task that both requires and expands a sense of peace. Accepting all of you takes practice. Understanding the internal blockages that may be challenging you from fully accessing or allowing yourself to emerge and be seen takes a habit of repeated articulation and acceptance made easier when done with others. In these sessions you will be guided through the art of finding the peace to accept and articulate yourself and the peace in seeing and sharing your whole self.

Additionally you’ll end with:

  • 2 to 3 live one-one-one sessions to dive deep into these subject matters and to identify peace-seeking tactics and obstacles unique to you

  • an look-into and understanding of your subconscious motivations

  • accessible practices which you can easily fold into your daily life

  • tips and tricks to help identify that which brings you peace, and to bring more of it into your life

  • tools to integrate shadow-work into your self development habits, and practices to help make peace a regular part of your existence

Practicing the Art of Peace & Self-Acceptance

Accepting all of you both brings peace & requires it - learning to see, embrace, and articulate parts of you takes practice. “Write it down, make it happen” is a mantra of many coaches, and manifesting gurus but knowing how to articulate who you are can be challenging enough; understanding the internal blockages that may be challenging you from fully accessing or allowing yourself to emerge and be seen is a whole other peace-seeking mission. In this workshop and live discussion, coach and author Eugenie Bostrom helps guide you through the art of finding the peace to accept and articulate yourself and the peace in seeing and sharing your whole self.

You’ll also get out of this:

  • tools to identify how you and your body feels in peace

  • tips and tricks to help identify that which brings you peace,

  • practices to help you ease back into, and make peace a regular part of your existence

Energy Allocation + Allowance of Desire

This Intentional Exploration deals with two fundamental practices to master on the journey to self- discovery and development: getting a hold of our often split energy, and starting to tap into our innate intuition by understanding our desires.

First things first. In order to find balance it’s important to first understand how your energy is split and secondly where your energy goes. Exploring Energy Allocation walks through steps to identify different modes of energy, where you apply that energy and how you can realign those energies to stay present and grounded. Then, we’ll move into the Allowance of Desire; what we want should be an easy question to answer - but often time it’s caught up in concepts of duty, guilt, and shame. Identifying our desires is essential in the practice of tapping into our innate intuition. Conversely, denial of our desire is a direct path to unease and stress. This tailored experience addresses ways to begin allowing innate desire to surface easily, without judgement, and helps to identify the freedom in choosing what to do with those desires once they’ve floated into your awareness and understanding. You’ll end this experience with a paradigm shift around how you spend your ever elusive time and how you allocate your most precious personal resource. You’ll also have a new love and understanding of that little voice in your head that asks for what it wants.

Additionally you’ll end with:

  • 2 to 3 live one-one-one sessions to dive deep into these subject matters and to identify obstacles and desires unique to you

  • tangible tools to help recenter you when you begin to feel split again

  • accessible practices which you can easily fold into your daily life

  • an new inescapable understanding of your organic habits

  • tools to workshop your desires on your own time when shame or guilt creep in again,

  • easy meditation practices to incorporate into your life

  • an understanding of the correlation between your intuition and desire
